RESTORATION OF THE MANOR HOUSE
Despite being a Grade I listed building and declared a Protected Historical Monument in 1982, the hotel was in a state of virtual ruin when it was acquired by its current owner back in 1998.
Over the next five years, the hotel was painstakingly restored so that its original features have been retained while refurbishing the interior to meet stringent modern requirements and provide a warm, welcoming retreat for the traveller.
